Thank you to EVERYONE who sent notes about the new site or the new blog. I’m sorry I’ve not kept up – but I lost my log-in information! I had to wait for Liz to come back from vacation…

And MANY thanks to Liz Bemis for the new site. She’s awesome. We had quite a time getting everything transferred and smoothed out, and we have a few more tweaks to add in the coming months, including contests, a newsletter – all that kind of good stuff. I’ll be adding excerpts from The Face of Deceit as well as The Taking of Carly Bradford – most of this will come in September, with the release of Deceit (which you can pre-order now, btw – ).

I FINALLY turned in Carly to my editor, so I’m taking a tad bit of a break from writing. A little break. Maybe. I have a lot of house stuff to do, and I want to prep for a garage sale. Of course, I also want to send Steeple Hill a new proposal, and I have at least three blog interviews to prep, and . . . and . . .

OK…to the best news . . . Romantic Times magazine gave The Face of Deceit 4 1/2 stars and made it a Top Pick for September!! I found out when my friend opened the September issue in the goody room at the RWA convention and pointed it out to me. I was so excited, I burst into tears in a room full of strange women!

Oh, and the convention! And San Francisco! *sigh* More on that in another post. Much too much to say for here. In the meantime, if you want to see another point of view, check out Barb Vey’s PW blog. Good report on the convention – and I missed her when she was here Monday for Sherrilyn Kenyon’s launch party. Boo.
