I dearly hope everyone is having (or HAD, by the time you read this) a great holiday. Mine has been productive, which is a good thing. I’m still working on the revision, but also some promo stuff and a little research. I have SO many books inside, begging to get out, that it’s like trying to control a room full of hungry, playful puppies that I can only feed one at a time. Occasionally, I have to give one I won’t get to for a year or more a bit of a research nibble.

OK, on to business. First, I need to explain that in the website change over I lost ALL my email from the previous site. We saved the blog, but not the email. So if you emailed me and didn’t get a response, please email me again. I’m just now getting some of my email loops straightened out.

Second, I finally did the drawing for the free books, and I’d like for Jen, Jane, and Kimberly to send me their home addresses, if you’re interested in a book. Please send to ramona01@ramonarichards.com.

Finally, starting in October, I will be hosting a quarterly contest, tentatively called “Chocolate, Starbucks, and Books, Oh, My!” As you might be able to guess, that will be the basic contents, although I will have a list of alternative items for folks who would prefer something other than the chocolate and Starbucks. The Starbucks will come in the form of a gift card, so I won’t be sending a bag of coffee as much as an opportunity for coffee. I don’t drink coffee, for instance, so my vice of choice at Starbucks is Chai Latte. All books will be inspirational romance or romantic suspense.

Winners will be chosen from folks who either post a comment on my blog or email me about a post on the blog or one of my books. I don’t have a fancy software that draws names at random. I put all names on identical pieces of paper, put them in a basket, and one of my sitters draws out the names.

That’s it for now.
