It’s been a strange and wonderful week. I’m not answering the phone today, trying to catch up on some work–and sleep. I’m hoping to be vastly more productive this weekend, although right now, I’m fighting the urge for a nap.
The writing life can be unsettling to some folks, I’ve discovered, since the only structure is what you impose on yourself. In the last few weeks, mine has broken down, for a variety of reasons. I’m looking at the first of July almost as a new year, a new start…back on track for the productivity I’d planned for 2005 back in January. A new discipline. More or less.
I guess we’ll find out how determined I am.
