Pulling It Back Together

In my absence, I’ve been spinning like an out-of-control top. Life appeared to be unraveling, and I realized (once again) that this little nest of a life I had created was merely a blessing from God to be embraced but not dependent on. That took a few days. I have spent a lot of time in prayer and even more talking and listening to godly friends.

The counsel of godly friends – biblical and SO necessary to stay on God’s track for our life. It is pure arrogance to believe we can (or should) make it through this life on our own. I am more grateful than you can know for those around me.

I will TRY to get back on my plan for the blog, but there will be some leeway. I may post more often than M-W-F, or post the devotional on Thursday. In the next four weeks, I have a novel to read and endorse, a book to read and write the foreword, Golden Heart and Rita entries to finish judging, and a book manuscript to finish writing. Blogging may take a back seat. I’m typing this at my hair stylist’s shop, waiting for the red to sink into the gray. (I’m also grateful for AlphaSmarts!)
