Good thing I didn’t make a resolution about blogging every day….

The week has been a little insane. Two work-related meltdowns, so that I had to do some quick fixes. A busted tire, fourteen hundred phone calls, insurance folks, making plans, a minor wreck, three colds, two panic attacks, and a bottle of Nyquil in my pear tree…so to speak.

Can you tell I bought the house. Almost. I have a contract and an online approval from the lender on the loan. I’ve made a moving plan, and I requested two books on Feng Shui from the library, which have, so far, only gone a long way to convince me that this method of decorating is meant for rich people with big houses and not a lot of stuff…and definitely no oversized wheelchair.

Consolation: the house should be a plus in many ways, and I’m sure this will wind up in one of my books. A writer’s life is always major fodder for the work.
