“I’ve
Got This Story. . .”
The three-year-old blonde cherub had her grandmothers enchanted.
Even though her speech still slurred and stumbled at times, the
story of a shopping trip with her parents sounded like so much
fun . . . until she spilled out a couple of unsavory events that
shocked them both…
When my parents returned, they found their mothers
angry and me with a satisfied grin.

Of course, none of it was true. When they tried to figure out how
I could weave such a tale at such a young age, they didn’t
have to look far.
I come from a long line of storytellers, most of them men. As my
mother would tell me later, that day they realized I spent way too
much time on the porch with the yarn spinners.
In fact, most of the pictures taken of me during that time caught
me either mid-tale or mid-song.
Becoming a writer was merely a matter of time….

Ramona Richards has ingeniously woven together two stories
and given it to her readers as fiction inside of fiction.
A Murder Among Friends is filled with human emotion and woven
with faith's struggles. From the first chapter till the last,
you won't stop wondering and you won't want to stop reading,
even if you put the book down long enough to grab a fresh
cup of coffee.

These three proved I could do it, although I have to admit I’m
most proud of being a part of Steeple Hill’s Love Inspired
Suspense line. I’m working on other novels, and I hope they’ll
find their way into your home and hearts soon.
